The BLS PEPP course is designed to enhance the knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence of EMTs, first responders, and other prehospital providers when caring for infants and children in the emergency setting.
STUDENTS MUST PURCHASE THE TEXTBOOK (either paperback or ebook) from JB Learning and complete the online module with Pre-Test.
This course focuses on the assessment and management of pediatric patients using a case-based, interactive approach that emphasizes recognition of life-threatening conditions, early intervention, and effective teamwork. Content is aligned with current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and prehospital care guidelines and is applicable to real-world EMS operations.
Participants will review:

Airway and respiratory emergencies

Shock and circulatory compromise

Medical and traumatic pediatric emergencies

Communication, family-centered care, and scene management
This course is appropriate for BLS-level providers and is ideal for both initial education and refresher training. Successful completion provides PEPP course completion documentation in accordance with program requirements.
